The New Shine Bar & Social at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Is Open — But Temporarily Without a Bar!

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ reopened today after the temporary closures shuttered its doors, along with the rest of Disney Springs, back in mid-March.

Along with the reopening of Homecomin’ was the arrival of the new Shine Bar & Social, an outdoor patio and bar for guests to visit on a more casual basis. But it appears as though it’s not fully ready today!

Despite Shine Bar & Social being advertised as opening today, the bar itself was not opened today!

Seating on the patio is available, but currently it is not open for guests to seat themselves. As of now, you need to visit the host stand first in order to be sat outside.

If you’re on the hunt for some good old fashion moonshine, don’t fret! The old bar area is currently open for folks to walk up and order drinks.

While the new Shine Bar is currently incomplete, when it’s finished, it will be located along the railing closest to the water!
