Currently, Disney World is closed until further notice, with no re-opening date confirmed. However, Disney World Resort’s shopping and dining center, Disney Springs, will begin a phased re-opening of select third-party locations starting on May 20th.
If you were hoping to stay in the Disney Springs area during this time, one Disney Springs area hotel has just announced they will be extending their closure.
The Best Western Lake Buena Vista hotel in the Disney Springs area of Disney World Resort confirmed they would be closed through at least June 30th.
We received word from a reader that their June reservation at the hotel was cancelled, receiving an email that listed the hotel as being closed through at least June 30th.
We will continue to bring updates as we learn more about the closures and potential re-openings of hotels in and around Walt Disney World Resort.
