Disney World Quietly Announced Reopening Date For Popular Lounge

Construction is happening all around Disney World — in the parks, the hotels, and beyond, and while sometimes it may feel that there’s no end in sight for any of them, they ARE moving along!

Back on February 23rd, Crew’s Cup, a popular Disney World hotel lounge, closed for refurbishment, and at the time, there wasn’t a reopening timeline other than “May,” but we’ve got good news — now we have an exact reopening date for this spot!

According to the Disney World website, Crew’s Cup Lounge is now showing hours beginning on June 1st! However, the actual announcement on the page still says the lounge is expected to open sometime in May, so it’s possible this date could change — we’re hoping it would shift forward, rather than backward, but we’ll have to wait and see.

The website also reminds us that as Crew’s Cup Lounge reopens, Yachtsman Steakhouse, located right next door, will be closing for refurbishment until August 2026. On the Yachtsman Steakhouse page of the Disney World website, there are no times showing starting May 14th, though the Disney World calendar currently goes into June.

This could mean that the two closures overlap for a few weeks, OR that Disney could be aiming to move up the Crew’s Cup Lounge reopening to match with May 14th, but right now, they aren’t 100% sure they’d hit that reopening timeline. It’s up in the air right now, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as we see/hear more.
