A Popular Disney World Restaurant Will Permanently CLOSE in 3 Days

If you’re heading to Disney World next week, you might be in for a bit of a shock.

Restaurantosaurus

Animal Kingdom is about to undergo a MASSIVE change as we say goodbye to DinoLand U.S.A. FOREVER, as it makes way for Pueblo Esperanza, a new Tropical Americas-themed land. While a lot of the focus has — understandably — been on the removal of rides like DINOSAUR, we sadly have to remind you that a popular quick-service restaurant will also be closing its doors for good.

It pains us to think that we’ll be referring to Restaurantosaurus in the past tense in only 3 days, but, alas, this restaurant is permanently closing with the rest of DinoLand, U.S.A., on February 2nd, 2026.

Restaurantosaurus

Themed after the study of paleontology with a humorous spin, this Animal Kingdom quick-service restaurant serves up classic American fare like Angus burgers, chicken strips, and hot dogs. It has long been a hotspot for families looking for affordable eats and air conditioning during a fun day at Animal Kingdom.

Unfortunately, time is running out for fans of the restaurant to indulge one last time. If you want to get in one last meal or just one last moment to say goodbye, you’ll need to do so on or before February 1st.

Since the announcement that the restaurant would close, we’ve been recommending grabbing a Kids Meal, as it comes with a FREE souvenir cup that was exclusive to Restaurantosaurus. The cup features a green lid and several multicolored animals in its design, along with the Animal Kingdom wording and the Tree of Life.

As was previously mentioned, the entire land is closing, so February 1st is also the last day to ride DINOSAUR, which will be replaced by an original Indiana Jones ride with similar mechanics. An Encanto ride, a new carrousel, and Tropical Americas-themed offerings like new restaurants, shops, and decorations will also be added to the land.

We can’t believe the time has come to say goodbye to Restaurantosaurus and the rest of DinoLand U.S.A.! For all the latest Pueblo Esperanza and Animal Kingdom updates, make sure you stay tuned right here at AllEars!
