Wait…What’s Going On At Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort?

There’s always some kind of construction happening in Disney World, but right now, there seems to be more than ever. We’ve got new lands coming to the parks, big ride updates happening, lots of hotel construction, and more.

Well, more construction is on the way. Disney World just recently filed two permits for construction for two of its properties.

The first permit is for Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. The address for the work is 1114H Cayman Way, which puts it somewhere around Old Port Royale, which is the hotel’s central hub, including the lobby. Now, we haven’t seen any indications of construction at the resort, save for the standard refurbishment of the Skyliiner in January, so we’re not sure what this means. The permit is for “general construction,” though.

The company doing the work is Lo Temp Engineering, which is a refrigeration and A/C repair and service company. So maybe this part of Caribbean Beach Resort is getting some work done the air conditioning?

The other permit is for the Imagination Pavilion in EPCOT. The address is 1990 Avenue of the Stars, which is the address for this area. The work again is listed as “general construction.” The company is Miller Electric Co., so it seems the work will be for something electrical.

Disney files these kind of permits ALL the time because keeping a huge resort like Disney World up and running always requires some kind of work. We’ll keep an eye out to see if we can spot anything new in these spaces, and let you know if there are any updates. In the meantime, be sure to follow us for more Disney news.
