Lightning Lane Prices Are Increasing Soon in Disney World

Lightning Lane prices are subject to surge pricing, which means that during busier times of the year, you’ll be paying way more to skip the lines than on a random week in September.

Lightning Lane for Peter Pan’s Flight

During the holiday season at Disney World, it’s certainly not uncommon for Lightning Lane prices to increase across the board — and by that, we mean for Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass, and Lightning Lane Premier Pass. However, we’ll be totally honest with you, we have NOT seen them get THIS high, well, basically EVER, so yeah, they’re about to skyrocket.

We now have Lightning Lane prices through December 21st, 2025, just a few days before Christmas, and YIKES, y’all, this is looking ROUGH. Starting off strong on December 1st, Lighting Lane Multi Pass for Magic Kingdom (which is almost always going to be the most expensive for Multi Pass and Single Pass), you’re looking at spending $37 per person.

The second-highest price hit nearly two weeks later on December 13th, which is when Magic Kingdom hit $39 per person, per day, which is the highest we’ve seen it hit in previous months. But yes, you heard us say “second highest.” That’s because on December 20th, Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Magic Kingdom hits $42! If you’re looking into Lightning Lane Premier Pass for that day, you’ll be paying $429 per person.

Lightning Lane at “it’s a small world”

That is THE HIGHEST Lightning Lane Multi Pass price we’ve EVER seen, which basically means it’s another price hike, in our opinion. It also opens the door for us to see prices this high in the future, too. While we don’t have prices for any dates past December 21st at this time, we do expect that it’s very possible we could see Lightning Lane prices get that high again on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and/or New Year’s Day.

Lighting Lane for Jungle Cruise

While we think it would take A LOT for any of the other parks to rise up to $42 for Multi Pass, it DOES mean that the “normal” high price for those parks that we’ve seen in the past could go up $2-$3 as well. This could really mess up people’s budgeting when they’re planning their trips, so we’ll be sure to keep a close eye on these changes and keep you updated, so stay tuned to AllEars!

  1. I am just happy I visited in the days of Fast Pass. Over the years, I have visited at least 20 times between DL and WDW. I am now too old and can no longer afford the exorbitant prices
