6 Things Disney Experts Wish They Could Say at the Parks, But Are Too Scared

Disney World is known as the “Most Magical Place on Earth” for a reason, as a trip to the resort is generally a wonderful experience. However, there are times when even Disney experts can get agitated with those around them.

Magic Kingdom crowds!

I’ve been going to Disney World for over 30 years. Over that time, the resort has served as my happy place many times, including being where I proposed to my wife and where we went right after our wedding. However, that doesn’t mean that things at the resort — and other guests — don’t sometimes get on my nerves. Recently, I spoke with some of the Disney experts on our team, and we thought about some of the things we wish we could say at the parks.

“You Don’t Need to Run”

There is literally no need to run through any Walt Disney World park. No matter what reservation or Lightning Lane you’re trying to catch, it’s not worth your safety — or the safety of others you might barrel through — just try and “make it on time.”

“Don’t Feed the Animals”

The living creatures one might spot around the Walt Disney World Resort are often adorable and can add to the ambiance. However, that doesn’t mean they should be fed human food. It’s dangerous for the animals, and for guests – yes, it’s even dangerous to feed the cute ducks.

“Move Out of the Middle of the Walkway”

Visiting Walt Disney World can be an overwhelming experience; we get that. It can be easy, especially for first-time visitors, to get caught looking up at sights like Cinderella Castle or Spaceship Earth. However, make sure to step to the side and not block the middle of any major thoroughfares.

“I Don’t Want to Watch the Fireworks Through Your Phone Camera!”

We loved taking pictures and photos at Disney World, and certainly, fireworks shows are some of the most photogenic memories worth capturing at the resort. However, there’s a difference between snapping a few pics or short videos and recording the entirety of a 20-minute presentation. You’re never going to watch it; it’s not going to look great or capture the moment if you tried to, and your phone is likely blocking the view of those around you.

“No One in This Line Cares About Your Podcast/Music/Speaker Phone Conversation”

Smartphones have certainly changed the game as far as waiting in queues at Walt Disney World, giving guests young and old alike a litany of distractions as they wait. We implore you, though, please don’t blast your media for everyone to hear, or broadcast any conversations you choose to have on speaker. Throw an AirPod in.

“No, it’s Not Supposed to be a Golf Ball.”

‘Nuff Said.

Spaceship Earth

Even the biggest Disney fans and experts sometimes need to hold their tongue at the “Most Magical Place on Earth.” Stay tuned to AllEars for more on Disney World.

  1. If a guest chooses to select a table service restaurant on their next visit to a Disney Park, I think they will be plesantly surprised how much the selection of a collared shirt and a pair of slacks will enhance the experience not only for themselves but for their fellow guests as well.
