CONFIRMED: Disney’s NEWEST Parade Officially Kicks Off to Huge Crowds

The time has FINALLY come, a new nighttime parade has arrived in Magic Kingdom!

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away

This is NOT a drill! Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away has made its official debut. After a short delay, this parade kicked off tonight on Main Street, U.S.A.!

Ok, so we did get to watch it already when it had a soft opening on July 18th. However, this is opening day! And, there’s something special and different about opening day.

Everyone wanted to get a good spot, and that meant looking for one early. We saw people staking out a spot 5 hours before showtime!

Disney also released brand-new merchandise for the nighttime parade. Introducing the new Disney Starlight Bubble Light Wand.  Yes, it’s a light-up bubble wand, but it’s also so much more. It’s a new interactive toy that we honestly couldn’t stop playing with.

This bubble wand lights up in a ton of different colors, and it interacts with the parade floats! You can also change the colors of the wands around you. Select your color, hold down the button, and point your wand at another, and it’ll turn that wand the same color as yours! Pretty cool, hey?! Obviously, we needed one for the opening show, and lots of people thought the same.

How cool is that!

And there’s a whole new Disney Starlight merch collection at the Emporium!

Alright, now it’s time for the show! The parade was filled with bright, colorful lights, beautiful floats, and some of your favorite Disney characters!

Hi, Whimsy!

Look at the Blue Fairy and her majestic dress!

The Coco float was making us go Poco Loco. Look at Miguel, and the spirit animal behind him.

This parade is great!

Of course, Moana had to make an appearance!

Disney Starlight makes its way through Magic Kingdom twice every night. Once at 9 PM and again at 11 PM. This will be on either end of the nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After, which will go on at 10 PM.

We’re beyond thrilled that this parade is finally here, and we’re going to be spending a lot of nights at the Magic Kingdom. For more news and updates, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars.
