We think we have a great idea for an attraction overhaul at Disney World.
We feel like this particular attraction in EPCOT could use a bit of love and attention, and we think we have the perfect idea!
If you have ever wandered over by Journey Into Imagination With Figment and made your way to the entrance for the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival, you likely found yourself enjoying an entertaining break of enjoying short films while basking in some great air conditioning.
You can almost always walk directly into this theater and all you have to wait for is the previous showing to be over so you can enter the theater. You can view a variety of Disney & Pixar short films inside and overall they are very entertaining. However, we feel like this experience could be overhauled in a fantastic way.
We think that Disney World should add in a 4DX auditorium into the Magic Eye Theater to really up the experience you can have. If you haven’t heard of a 4DX auditorium it is a special movie theater that features moving seats and effects such as water and lightning to create an immersive experience.

In a 4DX theater the seats are synchronized to what is being shown on the screen so you even get to experience the movement that is being portrayed. We think this could be such a great addition to the Magic Eye Theater and we could see lots of people wanting to stop by to try it out.
It could be incorporated into the short films that are already being shown. For example, you could be running right alongside Piper the bird in the short film Piper. Or a 4DX theater could be introduced with an entirely different film being shown.
We just think it would be amazing to be able to experience an immersive experience like 4DX inside of the Magic Eye Theater in EPCOT. We can always dream right? And, who knows, maybe our dream might just come true. We just need to use our imagination!

Don’t buy the dog perfume! Vets discourage it because it messes with dogs natural use of scents in their environment.
I don’t know….Does everything have to be transformed into the latest technologies? Maybe some things should be left the way they have always been. Nothing wrong in seeing some of the old shorts in a nice relaxing place where you can take a break from all the crowds and lines and high tech. I certainly like the break from that. What would be fun would be to have a whole bunch of shorts that are rotated so you get to see different ones and you never know what awaits you. But I have no idea how many there are.
Remember when that location was “Honey I Shrunk The kids?” Bring that back! Those three shorts that are shown there are feeling very old. Cute but we’ve seen it too many times. Put in something like Philharmagic. Any interactive 3or 4 d movie would be great. Disney World has areas in all their parks that need a good upheaval. Eventually……….
I agree that this theater should be updated to a variety of other disney films and maybe 4dx added. And Disney’s Magic Kingdom needs a update, like Tomorrowland Speedway for one. It would be great if they would update this ride to electric with new scenes.
