This Disney's Hollywood Studios CHANGE Is Sending People on a Wild Goose Chase

It might feel like we’re constantly tracking changes around Disney World because we truly are! We’ve recently spotted changes in everything from menus to entertainment and now we’ve got to tell you about another change that could affect your next visit to Hollywood Studios.

It’s no secret that we’re big fans of chatting it up with the characters while we’re visiting Disney World, so if you’re anything like us, this recent change could be significant to you, too!

We know change can happen at a moment’s notice around Disney World, so we’re constantly out in the parks. Normally, we find changes to merchandise, menu lineups, and new limited-time snacks and treats, but recently, we discovered a change in where you can meet some of your favorite characters.

Recently, if you were looking to meet Chip ‘n Dale in Hollywood Studios, you would find them preparing for a picnic on Hollywood Boulevard, just outside the Hollywood Brown Derby (probably because they didn’t make Advance Dining Reservations!).

Or, if you’re searching for Donald and Daisy, you could typically spot them around the flower beds on Hollywood Boulevard near the front of the Grauman’s Theatre.

And Max and Goofy had two traditional haunts on Grand Avenue, just before the entrance to Galaxy’s Edge or around Echo Lake, close to Dockside Diner.

But lately, these characters have been roving around Hollywood Studios and popping up at unexpected locations!

The other day, we spotted Daisy and Donald greeting guests at Grand Avenue, just across from the Gelato cart, outside of Muppet Courtyard!

So, how can you make sure you get to meet your favorite characters without adding thousands of steps to your day? Make sure you’re checking the My Disney Experience App and filtering it for the park you’re in and the experience you’re looking for — like Characters! This will help route you where you need to go and even give you the times when to expect the characters to appear!
