Disney World just completed a major project with the opening of CommuniCore Hall and Plaza –– the final piece of EPCOT’s Transformation.

But, that doesn’t mean there isn’t still work to be done in other areas of the Most Magical Place on Earth. In fact, we know that Test Track is undergoing a refurbishment, and the Country Bear Jamboree will reopen with new songs and more. Those aren’t the only projects in the works around Disney World, though!
We’re always on the hunt for the latest construction permits Disney has filed to get an idea of what projects might be on the horizon around the parks and more! We search for Notices of Commencement to find out what sort of work might be going on. Let’s take a look at what we found this time around!

Blizzard Beach has been closed for refurbishment while Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park remains open for guests. And, according to a permit we found, the Downhill Double Dipper Water Slide is getting some special attention. The description of the work is for “general construction,” so we’ll likely have to wait until the park reopens to check out any potential changes.

If you’re stopping by Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom anytime soon, keep an eye out for a new sign or two! We spotted a permit to install new signage at an address that matches up with this counter-service spot. And, while you’re there, grab some fish and chips and hush puppies!

And finally, a new permit has been filed for work in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT. It appears some kitchen nozzles around here need modification! We know, huge news.

The address listed on the permit is for the entire pavilion, so we can’t specifically see exactly where the work will be happening — just that it will take place somewhere in this area. We’re not expecting this to impact your trip in any major way, but it could mean a food or drink location has modified operation. We’ll keep an eye out for any further updates!

Disney World is changing all the time and we do our best to keep up with the latest permits and more so you can be prepared ahead of your next trip. And, while we’re planning experts ourselves, we have friends who can take it a step further and actually plan your trip for you!

If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!
We’ll be on the lookout for even more Disney World permits, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!

Oh, so exciting it’s a new restroom or a new sign or empty fancy buiding with new foilage!🥱🥱🥱
Well originally the Germany pavilion was supposed to have a ride in it. The show building was built, but supposedly the ride was canceled due to budget constraints. The building is currently used for storage. Could the pavilion be finally getting some sort of attraction?
