I Cut the Cost of My EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Spending in HALF by Doing This One Thing

EPCOT might be without a festival for the summer, but the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is right around the corner.

Food and Wine Festival 2023

We love going around and trying all the yummy food and drinks that are offered during the Food and Wine Festival. In fact, we can make a whole day at EPCOT just by trying festival booths. We know that the cost of food when visiting Disney World can add up, and we have a tip to help you cut costs in half during your visit to the Food and Wine Festival.

The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival will take place this year from August 29th to November 23rd. During this festival, there is so much to see and do, but the main attraction is trying all the food and drinks from the different booths around the park.

Last year, food items at the booths typically cost between $4 and $10, and drinks ranged from $5 to $14. We expect these prices to be similar for this year’s festival as well.

While portions of food and drinks are smaller than a full meal, you can totally snack your way through the day. You might want to try a lot of different menu items, and that can really add up.

One of our favorite menu items from Canada is the Cheese Soup!

So how do you cut costs in half? By sharing!

Sharing is caring!

While portions are smaller than a full meal, sharing is a great way to try a little bit of everything without getting overly full. This trick might even mean you can try more food! Plus it will cut your costs in half instead of getting two of each item.

Not only does the Food and Wine Festival have food booths for you to explore and try, but it also hosts live entertainment.

Eat to the Beat

On select nights during the festival, artists and bands perform at the America Gardens Theatre during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. We are still awaiting the concert lineup for the 2024 season, but last year bands like FOR KING & COUNTRY and Phillip Phillips performed.

Last year, Shiela E. was also on the concert line. We checked her website and saw that she will be performing at Disney World again this year on September 20th and 21st during the Food and Wine Festival.

Want to try food booths but don’t know where to start? You can partake in Emile’s Fromage Montage, which is a cheese crawl. Simply pick up a festival passport, go around to participating booths, and order the corresponding cheese menu item. Once you finish getting your passport stamped, you can redeem it for a free prize. Last year’s prize was a strawberry cheesecake dessert, and it was delicious!

The passport will tell you where you need to go as well as what all you can try

Remy’s Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt will also be making a return this year. You can purchase your map at certain gift shops around the park. Then it is up to you to go find Remy! Once you complete your map, you can redeem it for a prize! Don’t worry if you run out of time, you can still redeem your map for a prize even if it is not complete.

Time for a Scavenger Hunt!

We are keeping our fingers crossed for the return of the Culinary Demonstrations. Since CommuniCore Hall and Plaza just opened, it could mean that these possible demonstrations could have a new place to call home.
