We're Going INSIDE Tiana's Bayou General Store at Magic Kingdom BEFORE It Opens!

We finally got the chance to experience Magic Kingdom’s newest attraction — Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!

We have been keeping up with everything from construction walls going up to hidden queue details and sneak peeks at the critters. We’ve even brought you a look at all the merchandise coming to celebrate this new ride — and now we’re bringing you a first look inside a new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure store!

Over at the exit of the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride, the old Splash Down photos shop has been replaced with Tiana’s Bayou General Store!

When you exit this new attraction, you’ll do so through the gift shop — and we got a little sneak peek at the new space.

Keep in mind that it’s not officially open yet and Disney hasn’t quite moved in all the merchandise and other set pieces that might go in this store — but we did get a good look at what the area and theming look like.

When Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially opens, you can find all of the new merchandise over at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom. Shortly after the ride opens, Critter Co-Op will open its doors as well and the new souvenirs will move over to this new space!

We also got to check out the Dooky Chase spices coming to Magic Kingdom…

…and got a look at the new ride photo keepsake you can purchase!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure picks up the story of The Princess and the Frog after the final kiss, where you “join Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure — featuring some of the powerful music from the film — as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.”

So, what exactly DOES happen “after the final kiss?” Well, when the film itself ends, Princess Tiana makes her dream come true when she opens her very own restaurant, Tiana’s Palace (just like the one at Disneyland)!

The storyline is set about a year after the movie, and it’s set during the Carnival season in New Orleans and we’re all invited! You can check out our full review of this new ride — officially opening on June 28th at Magic Kingdom — by clicking here.
