FIRST LOOK at the NEW ‘Encanto’ Show at Disney World!

There is one Disney movie that took the world by storm. OK, there are actually a lot of Disney movies that took the world by storm, but we’re talking about one specific movie today. Why? Disney just introduced a NEW way to bring that beloved movie to life. Alright, Encanto fans, are you ready to be WOWED?

‘Encanto’ is SO popular!

At long last, the major EPCOT transformation is coming to a close. In fact, EPCOT’s CommuniCore Plaza and CommuniCore Hall open June 10th! But that’s not all! An all-new Encanto show is debuting in EPCOT, so you KNOW we had to be among the first to check it out. Get ready to hear some catchy music and see some popular characters!

Back in March, Disney announced that a new, limited-time sing-along was coming to EPCOT. The show is called “¡Celebración Encanto!” and it features Mirabel and Bruno as everyone sings along to the songs from Encanto!

This new show will happen daily on the CommuniCore Plaza stage. Now, remember, Disney noted that this is a limited-time show; it runs from June 10th to September 6th.  Shows take place several times during the day, and you can check the My Disney Experience app for times.

¡Celebracion-Encanto!

To start off the show, two hosts come out and ask some easy (if you’ve seen the film) trivia questions between the songs, and teach the audience some Spanish words!

Super fun!

After the song “Family Madrigal,” the four dancers chose kids from the audience to be props to participate in the show and be the people from the song!

We love audience participation!

During Isabella’s song “What Else Can I Do?” the dancers bring up lots of kids (and a few adults) from the audience and teach them a line dance.

Line dance time!

And during “Pressure,” the dancers pull kids up from the audience to show how strong they are by having them stand on a platform and show off their muscles.

Showing off those muscles!

Mirabel and Bruno made an appearance during “Mi Encanto” and then head to the audience to dance with the kids. There was even a conga line!

There they are!

The show itself is about 20 minutes long, while the dance party at the end is about 10 minutes. So you could leave before the dance party ends, if you really wanted to, but just look how much fun Emma and Quincy had!

Thanks DFB Cassie for bullying them into this!

Want even MORE Encanto? You can also meet Mirabel in Magic Kingdom and see Bruno in Magic Kingdom’s Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade. We told you Encanto was popular!

Hey, Mirabel!
