NEWS: Mobile Check-Out Will Be Available at Critter Co-Op in Magic Kingdom

Disney World is getting a brand new store, y’all!

During the re-theming of Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, two souvenir shops in Magic Kingdom closed their doors to become all-new stores. These new stores, Critter Co-Op and Tiana’s General Store, have been redesigned to house the exclusive Tiana’s Bayou Adventure merchandise. We got an exclusive sneak peek into Critter Co-Op and now we have some important details to share with you!

Critter Co-Op will be opening around the time that the new ride does. It will have all the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure merchandise you can dream of. When we stepped inside this new store, we knew that you all are going to LOVE the new souvenirs!

Since there are a TON of new items here and the store is brand new, we expect it to be very busy, especially in its first few days of opening. This can mean some pretty long lines at check-out to purchase your new items.

But we have some great news! You will be able to skip the lines at this shop by using mobile check-out. This means that you’ll be able to scan the items you wish to purchase, add them to your bag, and then check out right on your phone without having to go up to a register.

Critter Co-Op

All you’ll have to do before leaving the store is stop by one of the Mobile Check-Out signs for a Cast Member to check your receipt on your phone and match it up with the items you have. They can also provide you with a bag to make carrying your fancy new items around the parks easier!

Mobile check-out is a super convenient way to get in and out of a shop in Disney World, especially one like Critter Co-Op that will likely be busy with lots of people wanting to get their hands on the new ride gear. We don’t blame anyone for wanting these items, because they are so cool! There’s even an interactive firefly!
