See the First FULL Ride Through of Disney's NEW Tiana's Bayou Adventure Ride

It’s finally here!

We’re so excited!

Today, Disney SHOCKED us all with a big SURPRISE! We got a FULL PREVIEW of Disney World’s newest attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. In June 2020, Disney announced that the water-based ride Splash Mountain would close to be rethemed into an attraction inspired by the Disney animated film, The Princess and the Frog. Now, four years later, we can FINALLY see what it’s like to experience the ride.

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!

OK, we need to first talk about what we knew BEFORE going inside the ride. Disney previously shared that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure picks up the story of The Princess and the Frog “after the final kiss, and join Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film – as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.”

The ride’s story picks up during New Orleans’ Carnival season, and Tiana is hosting a Mardi Gras Party for the people of New Orleans — the community that has supported her successful restaurant.

Tiana realizes that her party is “missing a key ingredient,” and she needs help finding it! Look out for appearances from Tiana, Prince Naveen, Louis, Mama Odie, Eudora (Tiana’s mom), Charlotte, “Big Daddy,” the King and Queen of Maldonia, and Naveen’s brother Prince Ralphie.

Now that Tiana has her own restaurant, she’s in a new chapter! And what better way to celebrate than with her community? But Tiana’s Mardi Gras party has one slight problem: there’s been a mix-up in the preparations, and she’s missing a band!
