EPCOT is home to the World Showcase, which is a fantastic way to travel “around the world” with only a Disney World park ticket!

While many people may not spend much time in the American Adventure pavilion, it’s actually home to an impressive animatronics show and amazing performances by the Voices of Liberty. But something NEW is coming to the pavilion for a limited time, so you’ll want to check it out!
The George W. Bush Institute is loaning 60 portraits of service members and veterans painted by former President George W. Bush to the American Adventure Pavilion in EPCOT.

The portraits will arrive in EPCOT and debut on June 9th, 2024. The exhibit is called Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors. Each portrait is accompanied by a biography written by the former President. Information about resources to support veterans and their families will also be available inside the exhibit.

Ken Hersh, president and CEO of the George W. Bush Presidential Center, has said that he hopes the exhibit will “remember the leadership, service, and sacrifice behind each of the heroes painted and the unique challenges our service members and their families face when transitioning out of the military.”
