The Best Thing I've Ever Seen at Disney's Pop Century Resort

Disney’s Pop Century Resort is one of the most heavily themed resorts on Disney World property.

This is some people’s favorite resort, while it’s other’s least favorite. It’s a value resort, meaning it’s one of the most affordable of the Disney resorts. While some of the theming is nearly impossible to miss, there are some small details that many people miss that we want you to see!

Inside the lobby of Pop Century, you’ll find some shadow boxes filled with items from each decade!

These are so fun to look at and either relive your childhood, or introduce your kids to some of the items you, or maybe even your parents, had growing up.

They’re so fun!

So the next time you’re in the lobby, take a second to find these and admire them before heading off to where you’re going!

Yes, this is just colorful cheesecake, but we think that’s pretty amazing! If you haven’t gotten it before, we totally say try it out the next time you’re at the resort.

It’s so colorful and fun, and if you’re someone who enjoys banana-flavored treats (or at least doesn’t mind them), this is another one to grab when you visit.

And more recently we grabbed the Oatmeal Creme Pie, which has a fun Pop Century spin on the design.

This is a great treat for those who enjoy things a little more classic, but still have a sweet tooth.

The Skyliner Ride Over Hourglass Lake

Lastly, we have the absolutely beautiful ride on the Skyliner over Hourglass Lake in between Pop Century and Art of Animation.

This ride is gorgeous any time of day, but especially around sunset! The Skyliner will take you over to Caribbean Beach Resort, where you can transfer to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as other resorts. It’s a wonderful way to relax after a long day in the parks or get out of your hotel room for a little bit.
