This new ride is set to open in 2024, and we’ve been keeping a close eye on construction since it began to bring you all the updates. We’ve noticed a lot of construction outside the ride, and now we’ve got our first physical ride addition that solidifies what this ride is going to become!

That’s right, Tiana’s Foods Water Tower is now up in Magic Kingdom!

There it is!

This water tower is seen in the concept art for the ride, so we’re so excited to finally see it come to life.

Here is a look at that concept art — it looks just like it! Construction has been underway since Splash Mountain closed in January of this year and this is a big milestone for the new attraction. Although it won’t open until late 2024, it’s exciting to watch the progress!

Walt Disney Imagineering is creating an original, next chapter story for Tiana. Within the attraction queue, guests will discover that she continues to grow her business with Tiana’s Foods – an employee-owned cooperative. Combining her talents with those of the local community, Tiana has transformed an aging salt mine and built a beloved brand. (DISNEY)

If you look closely at the crown on top, you’ll see two stars — these represent Evangeline and Ray!

The ride will open in 2024

There is also a behind-the-scenes video released by Disney showing how the Water Tower was installed overnight.
