Have you heard the news? Genie+ is changing and it all starts TODAY.

Genie+ is Disney’s new paid skip-the-line service which replaced the free (and very popular) FastPass option. Since it was introduced in 2021, it has been surrounded in controversy and fans are NOT thrilled about many aspects of the service. Disney announced that they are making changes to Genie+ in 2024, but right now there’s a new change to the pricing.
As of June 27th, 2023, Disney World guests can buy Genie+ based on what parks they want to visit. This means Genie+ pricing will be park specific and you can choose to purchase it for a single park or multiple parks.

The multiple parks option is set to work the same as the current Genie+ service as long as you have a valid park hopper ticket. You’ll have access to all of the rides from each park that are available on Genie+.

If you are selecting a single park Genie+ option, the prices will vary based on the park you pick. So Genie+ will actually be cheaper at certain parks compared to others. Prices will continue to fluctuate depending on the day as well.

Disney gave us a sneak peek at the pricing when this announcement was initially made, so here are the prices for each Genie+ option on June 27th:
- Multiple Parks: $27/person
- Magic Kingdom: $27/person
- Hollywood Studios: $24/person
- EPCOT: $18/person
- Animal Kingdom: $16/person

You can purchase Genie+ starting at midnight on the day you plan to visit the parks.
