2024 is set to be an exciting year for the Disney parks!

Not only is the Disney Dining Plan returning, but we’ll see changes to Genie+, Park Pass requirements change, and new attractions. Speaking of new attractions, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is currently in the works at both Disney World and Disneyland and we’ve got an update on the upcoming ride!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a new attraction themed around The Princess and the Frog movie and will take the place of Splash Mountain which is now closed at both U.S. Disney parks. Even though the ride track is staying the same, many fans have wondered — how long will the ride be?

We recently attended a media event in New Orleans where Disney revealed more details about the attraction. Now, Disney confirmed that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be the same ride length as Splash Mountain.

This is expected because the track is staying the same, the theme will just be redone to immerse riders in the world of The Princess and the Frog.
Speaking of theming, what is Tiana’s Bayou Adventure about?

The ride’s storyline will pick up where the movie leaves off — Tiana recently opened and found success with the opening of her restaurant called Tiana’s Palace. The queue will kick off the story where visitors will find out about Tiana’s Foods, a company started by Tiana.

Tiana is planning to throw a Mardi Gras party, but there’s a mixup with the preparations, so we are recruited to help find the missing ingredient for the party. We’ll travel down the bayou with Louis and see some new and familiar faces throughout the journey!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is not set to open until late 2024 at Disney World and Disneyland, so we’ll have to be patient to see the completed ride. However, we’ll keep you updated as Disney releases more details on the attraction — stay tuned to AllEars for more!
