If you love collecting Disney popcorn buckets, a Disney Cruise Line trip may be in your future soon.

We’ve seen all kinds of popcorn buckets released in the parks lately — from ones themed to the 100th Anniversary to a Pumbaa design — but soon a NEW design will be available on Disney Cruise Line that you may need to add to your collection.
Disney Cruise Line is celebrating its Silver Anniversary at Sea this year (25th anniversary) and some celebration details have already been revealed — including a peek at new experiences and merchandise that’ll be available for those cruising this year. But now we have more news!

As part of the Silver Anniversary at Sea, Disney will be making a number of sweet treats, drinks, and souvenirs available for Disney cruises that set sail from May through September.

One of those new items is the Silver Anniversary at Sea Popcorn Bucket! It’ll be available for purchase and celebrates 25 years of Disney Ships from the Magic to the Wish.

But there’s more! This summer you’ll also be able to pick up the 25th Anniversary Disney Cruise Line Cupcake which is made of “vanilla sponge cake topped with vanilla frosting, 25th chocolate décor, and, of course, shimmering sprinkles.” (Look for it via amenities on the ship.)
You’ll also find a Mickey Chocolate Sphere in the sweet shops on the ships. This has a Mickey-shaped sphere with the 25th Anniversary emblem. Break it open and you’ll discover candy pieces!

Some existing desserts on the ships will also be getting a 25th Anniversary upgrade. At Cabana’s and Marceline’s Market, the 3-Layer Carrot Cake with lemon frosting will get a 25th Anniversary chocolate decor piece on it. Plus, the Disney Cruise Line Anniversary Chocolate Marquise will have a chocolate truffle crème topped with 25th Anniversary chocolate décor.

For more sweets, those with access to the concierge lounge will find a Chocolate Cream Cookie (a chocolate cream cookie with dulce de leche filling covered in rich dark chocolate) decorated with the Silver Anniversary at Sea logo and shimmering sprinkles.
At the concierge lounge, there will also be a Celebration Cupcake (red velvet sponge cake with vanilla frosting, shimmering sprinkles, and 25th Anniversary chocolate décor).
Over at Cove Cafe, you’ll find the Vanilla Crisped Rice Treat (vanilla-flavored crisped rice treat with a Minnie design) covered with special décor for the anniversary.

On top of that, signature desserts throughout the Disney Cruise Line ships will be getting some enhancements. Disney has said that “all” of these particular sweets will get a 25th Anniversary chocolate piece added to them.
At Palo, the Chocolate Souffle (with double chocolate sauce, vanilla crèmeanglaise, and vanilla bean gelato) will also have a 25th Anniversary piece for fans to check out.

And it looks like even the Coca-Cola bottles will be getting in on the fun. According to Disney, at Preludes and beverage spots on board, you’ll be able to buy a special Coca-Cola bottle that has been “decked out in Disney Cruise Line Silver Anniversary at Sea decor.”

Those 21 and up will also be able to enjoy the signature Jubilee at Sea cocktail (818 Blanco Tequila, Luxardo Maraschino, and fresh lemon juice with a sparkly, silver dusting and a shimmering blue sugar rim) and can grab a bookmark to learn how to make the drink at home.
There will also be 25th Anniversary coasters and napkins only on these celebratory sailings, so keep an eye out for those.

At the coffee shops on the ships, you’ll also find a Specialty Coffee Mug themed to the anniversary (and your purchase of the mug comes with specialty coffee).
Or you can grab a 25th Anniversary Beery Mug that has the logo sketched onto it.

That’s a LOT to look forward to! So if you’re going on a Disney cruise from May through September be on the lookout for these items. For more Disney Cruise Line news, click here to see how you can celebrate Halloween on a Disney ship. And stay tuned for more updates.
