BIG Change Hits Disney World Store

Something new has popped up in Magic Kingdom at Disney World and we’re headed into Tomorrowland to check it out!

Tomorrowland!

Tomorrowland Light & Power Co is what many people refer to as “the Space Mountain gift shop.” Before it closed for a refurbishment, guests would exit Space Mountain by going through Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.! At first, only part of the store was closed, but as construction progressed, the entire store closed. In the meantime, guests have been exiting Space Mountain through a side door of the attraction. We can’t wait to see what the area looks like once construction is complete!

This shop has been undergoing some serious construction, and even has a brand-new look! A fresh, new detail has been added to the outside of Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. You may not notice it at first glance…

…but when you take a closer look, it’s plain to see! A NEW clock has been added!

Look at the hand of the clock! It’s a lightning bolt! ⚡️ This addition really couldn’t be more fitting.

We can’t wait to see the inside of the shop once it’s complete. While we wait for the shop and for TRON Lightcycle / Run to officially open, a few more rides on Space Mountain won’t hurt. 😉
