VIDEO: Something Is DIFFERENT at Space Mountain at Disney World

Space Mountain is a fan-favorite coaster in Disney World with unexpected drops and turns that’ll take you to space and back!

But if you want to get on this ride, you’ll have to wait in the queue. The queue has changed a bit over the years (as some queues do) but recently we noticed something is DIFFERENT at this iconic attraction.

With windows that allow you to gaze out into the cosmic beyond and some iconic music, the Space Mountain queue is one that seems to just go on and on. But when you escape the first part of the indoor queue and head to the “main” area before the loading spaces, there’s something DIFFERENT!

The floor has been seriously polished over here and Disney has added glittery details that looks like stars! It looks like you’re just floating out in space.

Though it is a small detail, it adds a nice touch to the atmosphere of the attraction.

Disney is constantly working on its attractions — whether that’s through the addition of new details or ride refurbishments that get attractions in tip-top shape.

And this isn’t the only change we’ve seen at Space Mountain lately. In recent weeks, we’ve also seen crews doing some cleaning on the outside of the attraction, so it seems like several parts of the ride are getting spruced up.
