Have you been to Disney’s BoardWalk recently?

If you have, you’ll know that it is almost entirely a construction zone. That’s because there are some big changes on the way! On top of a brand new table service restaurant and bakery, one of the biggest changes is the brand new BoardWalk Deli restaurant coming soon. After getting a first look at the menu earlier today, we have another announcement that affects the new deli!
The BoardWalk Bakery has been a constant place to find sweet treats, sandwiches, and other eats while visiting the BoardWalk. However, as of today, the BoardWalk Bakery has official closed.

This location is set to house the new BoardWalk Deli. The new restaurant is supposed to open this summer, but Disney has not announced an official opening date just yet.

There are signs located around the BoardWalk with a list of available options.

However, over at the BoardWalk Pizza Window, you’ll be able to find some similar menu items that you would normally find at the BoardWalk Bakery. The sign indicates that pastries, hot sandwiches, and beverages will be available at the window from 7AM to 11:30AM each day for breakfast. The lunch and dinner offerings are the same as usual with salad and pizza from 12PM to 12AM.

Disney recently released details about the menu for the new BoardWalk Deli! The menu is set to take guests “on a road trip of classic sweet and savory flavors from New York to the Jersey Shore,” and features bagels, sweet breakfast pastries, and bagel sandwiches.

Lunch and dinner menus will include both hot and cold deli sandwiches including a Warm Pastrami Reuben, the Italian Sub, and the Veggie Crunch Muffaletta. You can check out more about the BoardWalk Deli menu here.

We’re excited to see some big changes on Disney’s BoardWalk, but we’re sad to see the BoardWalk Bakery go!
There are lots of other changes going on around Disney World right now. The TRON Coaster construction has continued to make progress and Cast Members are currently training for the Walt Disney World Railroad indicating it could reopen soon!
We’ll continue to keep you updated on the latest construction updates and closures in Disney World, so stay tuned for more.
