Early Theme Park Entry is a new upcoming way for select Disney World hotel guests to enter Disney Parks 30 minutes early.
This new Early Theme Park Entry program will debut on October 1st, and certain rides will be available for the first 30 minutes before the park officially opens to the public. We spotted a big change today with a major ride addition, so let’s take a look.
On Disney’s website, there’s been a new ride added to Early Theme Park Entry. Can you tell what was added? It’s a big one!
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has been added to Early Theme Park Entry! That means if you’re staying at an eligible hotel, you can get a head start on the Rise of the Resistance Standby Line, since Disney has paused the virtual queue system.
Considering we waited 105 minutes for Rise of the Resistance via the Standby Line today, getting a head start on the line is a huge advantage for eligible hotel guests. If you’re hoping to ride Rise without waiting in line for half your day, Early Theme Park Entry is probably one of your best options.
You can take a look at eligible Early Theme Park Entry hotels here, and start planning to set your alarm just a little early to take advantage of that extra 30 minutes. Keep reading All Ears for more Disney World news!
