We Regret to Inform You That This Disney World Hotel Perk Is Still MISSING

Five years since the closure of Disney World in 2020, there are still some things missing, and this hotel perk is one of them!

No, we’re not talking about package delivery from the parks to your Disney resort — although we do really miss this perk and there aren’t any signs of it returning just yet. There is another lesser-known perk that is still not available at two Disney World hotels.

Did you know that you can rent boats at Disney World? That’s right! Disney offers you to rent one of the Sun Tracker® Pontoon boats. This seats up to 10 Guests and only costs $49 per half-hour, which, split between a few parties, might be a good deal for you! Drivers must be at least 18 years of age — that’s right, you get to drive the boat.

Reservations are not required. As a reminder, only Resort hotel Guests or Guests with dining or recreation reservations may be allowed to enter the Resort hotel area to park. These boat rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. This perk is available at certain hotels.

However, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort used to be on this list before the 2020 closure of Disney World. Since then, these two locations have yet to reopen.
