Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is a popular hotel choice located in the EPCOT Resort area within walking distance of the Boardwalk, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT.

Currently, the hotel is undergoing some construction that we spotted on the exterior of the building. Last night, guests of the hotel were evacuated according to a reader report.
Disney Food Blog shared a video from @fanttasyxland on Instagram, where sirens were going off inside Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Guests were promptly evacuated at around 9:30PM.

While Disney has not shared or commented any cause of the evacuation, these are not uncommon occurrences on a property as large as Walt Disney World Resort. Not long ago, we heard reader reports of an evacuation occurs at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort.

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on everything going on at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and beyond! And, stay tuned with AllEars for the latest Disney entertainment and news!

Wow!, Unusual to see fire alarms/strobes going off in all buildings. Usually alarms are limited to individual structures. I’m sure this was huge disruption for guests, but I’d rather err on the safe side than assume it’s just a glitch in the system, which it probably was. As a contractor, I know how hard it is to remodel public facilities while maintaining full functionality of all systems.
Disney should refund the entire cost of a family’s WDW vacation if a Disney hotel or resort is evacuated. In most cases, the cause is a lack of proper maintenance due to poor management.
