PHOTOS: We Tried the $100 Sandwich at Disney's Avengers Campus

The day is finally here — we’re checking out Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure!

Superheroes have taken over Disney California Adventure!

We’ve been awaiting the opening of this land for quite a while, and every detail we’ve received has just made us want to visit even more. There’s so much to see and do today, and one of the items on our must-try list is a $100 sandwich! (Yeah, you read that right…)

PYM Test Kitchen is one of the spots opening here at Avengers Campus, and the menu was released not too long ago. When we first saw it, we were shocked to see a panini on the menu with a $100 price tag — well, $99.99 to be exact.

The Family-sized Pym-ini comes with Salami, Rosemary Ham, Provolone, and Sun-dried Tomato Spread on Toasted Focaccia with Marinara dipping Sauce, Potato Bites, and Arugula Salad. It serves 6-8 guests, which makes sense because it is GIANT!

The panini is cut into 8 individual slices and served with the Pym Test Kitchen logo cooked into the bread. Plus, you’ll get a whopping serving of potato bites (aka tater tots) served in a GIANT spoon with a tiny fork…

That’s a big serving of tots!

…and enough marinara dipping sauce to please almost any sauce lover (with a tiny spoon, of course).

It may not be the most practical serving utensil in there…

That is definitely one monster of a sandwich that is meant for sharing! And, seriously, you’ll NEED to share it — we found that it was plenty of food for a large group if this is all you want to order. Taste-wise, it’s pretty similar to a meat lovers pizza sandwich or an Italian sub in panini form, so you’ll probably enjoy this if you’re a fan of either!

If that looks like too much for the family to tackle, you can also get a smaller version of the Pym-ini Sandwich for $14.49. The only thing that’s different is that you won’t get a side of tater tots! Stay tuned to AllEars as we continue to explore Avengers Campus and share our adventures with you!
