A Popular Disney World Ride Now Opens Later Each Day

Disney World’s attractions are already seeing changes left and right right now! While some are removing plexiglass, others are reducing distancing measures.

Return Area for Virtual Queue

There are even places that are adding more virtual queues around the parks! But, another popular ride in Disney World is making a big change by opening later in the day instead.

Kali River Rapids will be opening an hour after Disney’s Animal Kingdom welcomes guests in the morning. While the park is currently set to open at 8AM daily, the attraction will be holding off on boarding guests until 9AM instead.

Although, you’ll still get wet on this one.

Along with the hours changing on the Disney World website, a Cast Member at the attraction was able to confirm the change.

Outside of the attraction, there is also a sign noting the updated hours.

  1. May as well open later. It was hardly ever the first ride in AK that people would go to after rope drop.
