Heading to Disney World? That sun is going to be BRUTAL.

It’s no secret that the UV index is often pretty high in Central Florida, and thus, you’ll need to pack sunscreen for your vacation if you want to avoid burning. Thankfully, we’ve got some former Cast Members on our team who’ve spent many hours in the sun at Disney World, and they know what’s up! Here are their recommendations.
Got little ones in your group or people with sensitive skin? Maybe you just want a more natural product? If so, we’re big fans of this Blue Lizard SENSITIVE Mineral Sunscreen.

It’s made with zinc oxide, and it’s SPF 50+. It’s also water-resistant, so good for a day at the pool!
A popular choice for many is the Sun Bum Original SPF 50 Roll-On Sunscreen. This is easy and mess-free to apply with the roll-on applicator.

This travel-size applicator is 3oz, so it fits well in your carry-on bag at the airport and your park bag in Disney World.
Want something a bit more intense and guaranteed to stay effective even when you’re sweating buckets in the Florida heat? That’s when we go sport mode! The Banana Boat Sport Ultra SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion is a good choice for those planning to hustle through the parks.

This is another one that’s SPF 50, and it stays water and sweat-resistant for up to 80 minutes at a time.
Another strong contender for a face product is Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen Lotion. This one will keep you covered without causing breakouts afterward.

It’s designed for acne-prone skin, and it’s oil-, fragrance-, and Oxybenzone-free. It also comes in a small container that’s perfect for travel.
This next one is great for mixing your skincare routine with your sunscreen, and that’s the innisfree Daily Mineral UV Defense SPF 45 Face Sunscreen. It has a green tint to make it color-correcting when it goes on your face.

It also contains Hyaluronic Acid to help fight acne when in use.
Speaking of Korean skincare, we’re also fans of this TONYMOLY Green Tea Korean Sunscreen SPF 50. It has Niacinamide, Panthenol, and Hyaluronic Acid, and it comes in a 50ML container.

This one sits nicely and light on your skin — no goopy, thick mess here.
My personal choice for sun protection in the parks is this e.l.f. SKIN Suntouchable Whoa Glow SPF 30. It’s a sunscreen AND a makeup primer, and it works really well.

You can order it in different shades to match your skin tone, and it’s made with Hyaluronic Acid and is vegan and cruelty-free.
Need something better tailored to your skin? Black Girl Sunscreen Kids SPF 50 Lotion is designed by women of color, for people of color. It’s made to work best on melanin-rich skin and has no white cast when used.

This particular version is paraben and fragrance-free, and it has water resistance for up to 80 minutes after application.
The Shiseido Clear Sunscreen Stick SPF 50+ is an invisible face sunscreen that you can wear over or under your makeup for sun protection.

It’s a lightweight formula designed for all skin types, and the stick-style applicator is easy to use.
Last but not least, we’ve got this fun gadget that helps a lot for families with kids. The Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator holds 3.4oz and makes it easy to put sunscreen on your kids’ faces in particular.

You can order it in several different colors, and it comes in a compact travel size.
Those are some of our tried and true favorite sunscreens for the many summer days ahead. Let us know if you’ve tested out any of these products!
