Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland is full of fun Imagineering details that never cease to amaze us!

We love strolling around and seeing all the thought that the park’s designers put into each spot, from the crown on the Cinderella Fountain to the details of the queue for Under the Sea. Today, we’re sharing even more details from a popular attraction, that way you can all become Fantasyland experts!
If you want to meet princesses up close in Magic Kingdom, there’s one place that you can’t miss — Princess Fairytale Hall!

This meet-and-greet location is not operating as usual due to health and safety precautions, but we still spot some of our favorite leading ladies standing in front of it from time to time, waving at guests.

What you may not know about this location though, is that there are 31 crowns adorning the facade. That’s right, 31 — that’s a lot of tiaras!

Even the light fixtures are regal!

Also, above the entrance, you’ll find crests dedicated to the various Disney princesses. Here’s one for Aurora, matching the spinning wheel that put her to sleep.

And another one has a book. There’s only one princess that this could be for — Belle!

There’s a seashell for Ariel that looks oddly familiar (it matches Ursula’s necklace) and some windswept leaves that distinctly remind us of Pocahontas.

We also found a lilypad for Tiana, an apple for Snow White, a dragon for Mulan, and Rapunzel’s sun design that appears on all her artwork. We definitely wouldn’t mind some merchandise with these icons, they’re really cool.

So next time you pass by this spot in Fantasyland, you can point out all these details to your family! Or, you can make them guess how many crowns there are and play “match the crest to the princess” — whichever way you do it, you’ll be teaching them a bit more about the amazing details of the Disney parks.
