PHOTOS! Our Fine Feathered Friend José Has “Departed” From Gran Fiesta Tour in EPCOT

If you ever find yourself in the Mexico Pavilion in World Showcase, the Gran Fiesta Tour is a leisurely boat ride you can hop on to escape the Florida heat. The ride follows Panchito and Jose on a search for Donald Duck, who has gone missing the day of their big concert!

But after hearing some whispers that one of the Three Caballeros was ACTUALLY M.I.A., we knew we needed to investigate for ourselves.

We rode Gran Fiesta Tour today to check on José, and sure enough…he is no longer with us.

Donald and Panchito are still there and singing their little hearts out, but there is a large noticeable gap on the stage. Where José once stood, only a small bouquet of flowers remain.

When Donald and Panchito turn to acknowledge their fine feathered friend, José is nowhere to be found.

So, is José okay? Will he come back? We clearly have many unanswered questions as to the status and whereabouts of Jose, so we will continue to keep a close eye on this attraction until we know he’s back safe and sound!
