Disney World is preparing to reopen a select amount of resort hotels on June 22nd, and the theme parks will open again July 11th and 15th.
In preparation for these events and to help keep guests and Cast Members safe, Disney World has added a new health acknowledgement on its website for guests to reference before they leave home.
In this health acknowledgement, guests are confirming that by entering Disney World, they are free from any symptoms that may indicate that they have the coronavirus, including a fever, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell, and more.
This health acknowledgement also includes agreeing that the guest has not had any direct contact with someone who had confirmed or suspected symptoms and are not already under any self-quarantine orders.
The health acknowledgement states that any guest who does not meet all of the criteria “must not enter Walt Disney World Resort.” And these are just the beginning of new health and safety measures around Disney World, and when more come up, we’ll keep you informed.

Congestion or runny nose? Sounds just like my allergies to me with sneezing and sometimes coughing, so how is a person supposed to state they have these symptoms if they have allergies too, and have many times experienced this when the go to Disney World, especially during the Flower and Garden Festival.
I am about the safety of everyone but this seems to be a controversial thing especially if you will be Temperature tested at the parks and show no fever but have allergies bothering you. Will you be asked to leave the park if someone confuses your allergies for you being sick.
I noticed that my tickets in the My Disney Experience app now say they are valid until 12/31/2030? Is anyone else seeing this? Seems like it would be huge news if Disney had decided to extend the date of use out an entire decade.
Yes! We are set to come July 17th. We are excited and also a little nervous that they are going to change the policy to self quarantining for three days like they are doing for NBA families.
And what is the penalty for violating this policy? Being in healthcare I’ve seen plenty of symptomatic people test positive.
