Did you know: Magic Kingdom is actually a treasure trove of details and Easter eggs?

From the color of the sidewalks to the scale of the buildings, all of the details are perfectly in place to fully immerse you into a world of Fantasy.

The Imagineers have fun adding little details that many guests don’t even notice but that fully help bring the parks to life — like the Lady and the Tramp’s paw prints outside of Tony’s Town Square Restaurant!

And here are a few of our favorite hidden Easter Eggs in the Magic Kingdom — how many have you spotted?

1. The Train Names

Sure, you’ve taken a spin on the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness, but have you ever noticed the train names?

If you look closely at the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Engine cars you’ll notice each one has a name. Look at the green part of the train to see which one you’re riding!

The names of the six trains are: U.R. Courageous, I.M. Brave, I.M. Bold, U.R. Fearless, I.B. Hearty, and U.R. Daring.

2. One if By Land…

When you’re strolling through Liberty Square, glance up as you head to Columbia Harbour House. You’ll see two lanterns in a window — any guess why?

Remember the old adage, “one if by land, two if by sea?” As we well know the answer was “by sea” — hence the two lanterns.

3. Winnie and Mole

You may know that The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh replaced Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride in Fantasyland. You may also know there’s a photo of Mr. Toad and Owl on the attraction. But did you know that’s not the only crossover portrait to be seen?

Look closely and you’ll also see this painting of Pooh and Mole!

4. A Piece of Eight…Hundred and Eighty-Two

Heads up: Fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean films! There’s a nod to the first film in the gift shop as you exit the attraction. It may move about the store, but look up, and you’ll spot a red vase with a familiar gold coin.

Remember that? It’s one of the 882 pieces of Aztec Gold that Barbossa’s crew needs to reunite to break the curse!

5. Make a Wish!

Lots of Guests don’t realize there’s a wishing well near Cinderella Castle! Find it on the pathway from the right side of the castle bridge (near Merida’s meet and greet) and  into the heart of Fantasyland.

Make a wish in this fountain — and know that no matter if it comes true or not, the money is donated to charities like Make-a-Wish.

And even if you knew about the wishing well, have you ever looked down to admire the details?

Around the bottom you’ll see Cinderella’s mice and bird friends, along with that rascal Lucifer!
