Disney Cruise Line Issues Precautionary Restrictions In Response to Coronavirus

The Coronavirus has been of great concern to the international community, with the U.S. State Department issuing Level 4 Travel Advisory against travel to China. Disney Cruise Line has elected to comply with this advisory, enforcing new restrictions on travelers who have recently come from or traveled through China.

Effective immediately, guests who have traveled from or through mainland China, or who have been in physical contact with a suspected or confirmed coronavirus case within 14 days of embarkation day will be unable to board at the Disney Cruise Line until further notice.

This announcement comes in the wake of the closure of both Shanghai and Hong Kong Disneyland just days ago, right at the peak of vacation season in China. The restrictions will apply to both guests and crew members who have either traveled to or from mainland China in the past 14 days, or who have been in contact with someone with a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus.
