Disney World Construction Update: Muppet Vision 3D Still Closed, and Miss Piggy is Missing!

We love the Muppets for their wordplay and slapstick sensibilities, and they always seem to put a smile on our face. They’ve had a resurgence in the last decade with two movies, two series, and a comedic look at American history at the Magic Kingdom.

Muppet Vision 3D

Muppet Vision 3-D has been delighting audiences since 1991 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And with an attraction as old as this one, the area needs to be spruced up every now and again.

The attraction officially closed for refurbishment on January 27th, and now it looks like another aspect of this part of the park will be undergoing a change!

Behind the hedges circling the fountain, you can see that the Miss. Piggy centerpiece has been removed. At this time, it’s unknown if it’s just a simple refresh or if something else is being done.

Currently, Muppet Vision 3-D is not playing in the Grand Avenue Theater. On the official Disney World web page for the attraction, times are listed for the attraction starting again on February 8th, so we will keep you updated as we learn more!
