New Details Released for Epcot’s 2019 Flower and Garden Festival

The 26th Epcot Flower and Garden Festival kicks off March 6 and will feature new topiaries, food booths, gardens, and 270 concerts in the Garden Rocks Concert Series.

This year’s festival runs March 6 – June 3, a full 90 days! There will be returning classics such as the Goodness Garden Butterfly House and some new additions including a Bo-Peep topiary from Toy Story 4!

This year’s Festival will feature:

Expanded Garden Rocks Concert Series

An expanded Garden Rocks Concert Series will include shows every day of the Festival.  The series will feature new and returning fan favorites. Returning artists include The Spinners and Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone. New acts will include Toby Mac, Steven Curtis Chapman and Colin Hay of Men at Work.

New Outdoor Kitchens Debut

Creative culinary dishes and several new outdoor kitchens will debut during this year’s Festival. AdventHealth will host a kitchen along with a nearby playground where you and your family can learn ways to stay healthy in a fun and interactive atmosphere.

Toy Story‘s Bo-Peep Topiary Welcomed to Festival

We just learned Bo-Peep will join Woody and her friends again in Toy Story 4, and now we know she will also be at the Festival! Woody and Buzz Lightyear are ready to welcome Bo-Peep and her sheep to their Toy Story topiary near the Family Play Zone in Future World East.  Check out the brand new poster for Toy Story 4 featuring a very modern version of Bo-Peep!

Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration Adds Locations to Trail

Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration family scavenger hunt will add to the fun this year with new locations to discover along the garden pollination trail. You can also commemorate your scavenger hunt experience with merchandise offerings featuring everyone’s favorite bee, Spike.

Celebrate the Eggstravaganza Scavenger Hunt

The Eggstravaganza Scavenger Hunt returns April 5-21 (while supplies last). Complete the scavenger hunt as you search for Disney character-themed eggs around World Showcase.

9′ Sculpture Celebrates Disneynature’s Penguins

In honor of Disneynature’s Penguins, opening April 17, a 9-foot-tall art sculpture made from recycled marine debris will be on display in Future World. Created by the non-profit organization WashedAshore.org, this artwork featuring an adult and baby Adélie penguin, is designed to inspire visitors keep oceans and waterways clear of plastic pollution.

Festival Exclusive Guided Tours

Festival exclusive guided tours are offered select days throughout the festival:

  • The Royal Tea Garden Tour, presented by Twinings, takes place each festival morning in the United Kingdom pavilion. During the tour follow a knowledgeable guide through the tea garden setting to learn the history and artistry behind growing and blending tea. A post-tour treat of tea and scones is included. The shorter, complimentary English Tea Garden Tour also will be offered on select days.
  • During the Gardens of the World Tour, join a Disney horticulturist for a three-hour walking tour to explore the award-winning topiaries and gardens that make the festival so special. Learn about the unique role landscaping plays at Walt Disney World and discover new plant materials and gardening techniques to use for home gardens.
