  1. I love Disney (am a local and an AP holder) and am really disappointed with the looks of this parade. This doesn’t look like anything that represents Disney and more of what “Disney” thinks is cool these days. I think Walt would be flipping in his grave! I hope I’m wrong. Will be there for the debut anyway!

  2. WoW !!! This looks like Ringling Bros. and Cirq de Sole got together and did a parade !! Looks tacky, not classy or glamorous or sweet like previous parades !! I love parades but this is not what i want to see at a Disney parade , but , I am sure there are a a lot of people who enjoy this style ……just not me !! The Sea Shell Girl looks like the Frosty Queen from Candy Land !! Have they mentioned how many years this will run ? Thanks for the blog ……maybe i will do what lots of people do and go for the shorter ride lines during this parade !!!

  3. My family and I are planning our 4th visit to WDW. Is this new parade listed on the Disney website? it looks fun. I can’t wait to see it.

  4. Thanks so much for sharing the photos, Deb! It looks like it will be an amazing parade. Did they give you any idea when it will start running? I’m going to be at WDW in March and it would be awesome to see it! Thanks!

March is all Disney is saying right now.

  5. We are going next week – is this going live already? Can we catch it while we are there?

DEB: It is not live yet, March is what Disney is saying!

  6. My family and I are really looking forward to the new MK Parade. We’re hoping the parade will start running in early March. We will be there from 28 Feb – 09 Mar. We come to Disney every year around this time to escape the Mardi Gras craziness in New Orleans. We’re hoping that Disney has thought to maybe start the new parade on Mard Gras Day this year, which will be 04 March. You know how us New Orleanians love our parades. What better time to kick off the new parade.. Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!!

  7. Thanks so much for this post. This is an especially big treat for me since my friend’s daughter is modeling one of the costumes. Really brightened up my day.
