Heading to EPCOT? I’m here to teach you the tricks of the trade.

I go to the parks all the time for my job here at AllEars, and that means I know the ins and outs of every section, land, and hidden pathway. That’s why I’ve gathered up a list of the best shortcuts in the park and put them in handy-dandy map form! Let’s make your visit smooth and simple, folks.
World Showcase
Let’s start things out in the largest section of the park, World Showcase! This area can get SO crowded, especially during dinnertime and festival season. If you want to cut off part of the main pathway at the entrance to World Showcase, you can walk behind Disney Traders and Port of Entry alongside World Showcase Lagoon. This is also a great photo spot!

One addition to this list isn’t a pathway to take, but a transportation route that’s often forgotten! Friendship Boats run across World Showcase Lagoon starting at 11AM and running until evening, usually stopping 1-2 hours before the time for the fireworks. You can board these boats near Canada or in Germany.

The boats only go back and forth between those two spots at the moment. The Morocco dock has been closed since June 2025, and the Mexico area dock hasn’t reopened since the pandemic.
World Discovery
One of the best ways to travel between World Discovery and World Showcase is with the Odyssey Pavilion bridges! We use this shortcut all the time, and it’s available even if the Odyssey Pavilion itself is closed. During a festival, you can typically cut through the building, but when the indoor portion is closed, you can just take the bridge around the outside.

This is also the quickest way to get from World Discovery to First Aid and the Baby Care Center. They’re located next to the Odyssey building on the Mexico side.
World Celebration
One of the quickest shortcuts you may learn about as a Disney fan is walking through Connections Cafe and Eatery to get to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Oh, how we miss when this area was under construction, and there was a pathway cutting directly to Cosmic Rewind from the front!

Another good building cut-through is available at CommuniCore Hall. When this building is being used for festivals, you can walk from one entrance through the middle to the other side. It’s a great way to get a burst of air conditioning on those hot days.

This one doesn’t save too many steps, but they usually have fun exhibits or delicious snacks available inside CommuniCore Hall, so it’s a decent pit stop.
World Nature
Finally, we’ve got to mention the World Nature pathway that people seem to forget exists! The entrance is a little tucked away on the Spaceship Earth side, but it pops out by the Moana meet-and-greet and Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana. This is also the fastest way to get to The Seas or Coral Reef Restaurant.

Knowing these shortcuts can save you time, energy, and, in the case of the indoor ones…SWEAT. Plus, using these routes means that you get to explore more of the park that you may not have known existed.

The biggest shortcut at Epcot is the back door. If possible, park wherever you can in order to walk, boat or Skyliner to the World Showcase entrance and avoid a hassle at the front entrance and get to dinner reservations more quickly in France, Italy, UK, etc.
