4 Popular Magic Kingdom Meet and Greets Change Locations

EVERYTHING feels like it’s changing in Magic Kingdom. A classic ride, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, is getting an overhaul. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is getting updated. An expansion is happening in Frontierland, while an entire NEW land is also being added to the park.

But that’s not the only change happening in Magic Kingdom. Another update is coming tomorrow, and we wanted to remind you about it. The character meet and greets at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus has CHANGED.

Before today, you could meet Daisy, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy all dressed up in their circus outfits at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus. However, that has changed. This meet and greet is now currently closed.

However, you’ll still be able to see these characters around Storybook Circus, just not in that one dedicated spot. So keep an eye out for them!

The Disney World calendar only says that the character meet and greets inside the building will be “temporarily unavailable.” So it’s likely Disney is just doing a small refurbishment to the inside of the space to freshen it up a bit (and this happens from time to time). The characters will likely return to Pete’s Silly Sideshow once that refurbishment is complete.

In the meantime, you’ll want to keep an eye out for these characters when you visit Storybook Circus. You can also meet other characters throughout Magic Kingdom, including Mickey, who meets with guests at Town Square Theater on Main Street, U.S.A. You can also visit with Disney Princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall in Fantasyland.

Of course, you can also book a character dining experience, like Crystal Palace or Cinderella’s Royal Table, to meet your favorite characters. Crystal Palace is one of my faves because you can meet the characters from Winnie the Pooh!

We’ll keep an eye on the situation in Storybook Circus and let you know what’s going on, so keep following AllEars to stay updated.
