Something new is bubbling up in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland!

Tomorrowland is getting a refreshing upgrade with the arrival of AstroFizz, a brand-new snack stand ready to blast off soon. Most recently, Disney’s slew of announcements of holiday treats and sips hinted that an opening could be just around the corner. While the stand remains behind construction walls for now, it’s already stirring excitement among park-goers eager to see what this space-themed snack stop will serve up — and you won’t believe how it’s changed overnight!
Located in the space formerly occupied by Cool Ship, AstroFizz looks to bring a fresh, futuristic touch to Tomorrowland’s snack lineup. According to its description in the My Disney Experience app, we’ll will soon be able to “fuel up at this space-age stand featuring buttery popcorn and fluffy cotton candy,” along with an assortment of frozen beverages and Coca-Cola fountain drinks.

Recent updates around the construction area show the retro-looking AstroFizz sign installed…

…along with sleek new digital menu screens that preview several drink and snack options. From the PeopleMover, you can easily catch a glimpse of the kiosk’s shiny new exterior, giving fans their first real look at what’s to come.

While the structure itself appears nearly complete, construction walls remain up around the area, and Disney has yet to announce an official opening date. However, its addition to the My Disney Experience app often means an opening is soon to follow.

Tomorrowland has long been one of the most visually dynamic areas of Magic Kingdom, undergoing tremendous updates and refurbishments to several of its rides, but in recent years, snack options in the land have been somewhat limited. The introduction of AstroFizz not only fills a convenient gap for folks looking for something quick between rides like Space Mountain or Tomorrowland Speedway, but it also continues Disney’s trend of theming even its snack stands with imaginative flair.

A revised slushie station and popcorn stop fit perfectly into Tomorrowland’s high-energy atmosphere — and the addition of themed churros makes it even more enticing for visitors looking for that perfect mid-day treat.

As we mentioned earlier, there’s no confirmed opening date for this new snack stand just yet, but the progress so far suggests that AstroFizz could be ready to welcome its first visitors soon. With menu boards in place and app integration live, Disney appears to be in the final stages of preparation. If you’re planning on visiting Magic Kingdom in the coming weeks, we think you should keep a keen eye out for signs of an opening date or official announcements to come.
