We Bet You Didn’t Know This Super Rare Magic Kingdom Ride Secret

Magic Kingdom is full of snacks, rides, our favorite Disney characters, and a few secrets!

Cinderella Castle

As someone who has been to Magic Kingdom over 50 times in the last 10 years, that’s one of my favorite things about this Disney park — you’ll never know what you’ll see! From pop-up entertainment like the Dapper Dans to adorable ducks strolling down Main Street, there is so much to find. But, there is a SUPER rare find that is only available one day of the year, and it’s coming up!

Did you know that November 18th is a very special day? Why? It’s Mickey Mouse’s birthday and Minnie Mouse’s birthday! It’s even more important to celebrate at Magic Kingdom on this day.

Hey, Mickey!

On November 18th each year, a hidden Mickey appears in the queue for Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid in Magic Kingdom. Yes, this hidden Mickey is so rare you can only see it ONCE every year. And not only that, you’ve got to time your visit to this queue perfectly too!

Under The Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid

The hidden Mickey appears right around noon, provided it’s a sunny day and there aren’t clouds or other things obstructing this unique Mickey creation. The Hidden Mickey appears in the queue for the Little Mermaid ride.

The Line

Once you get past the fully outdoor portion of the queue, you need to get underneath the rocky ceiling and search for a shape in the rocks above that looks like Mickey’s head (don’t worry, if you go on November 18th, there will likely be lots of people standing around to give you a hint!).

Disney hides things EVERYWHERE!

After you see this one, don’t forget to look to your right as you are exiting the ride outside. You’ll see a rock formation that makes my personal favorite hidden Mickey — a Steamboat Willie Mickey!

He’s profile and steering the wheel in his iconic fashion. Start at the rock closest to us — that’s his front leg and half of his pants (look for the circle button). The next rock has its back leg, the other half of his shorts, outstretched arm, and face flat on the rock (look for the nose pointing out!). His hat is farthest away but tops his head, and to the left is the steering wheel

Hidden Mickeys are everywhere!

We love this hidden secret, and it’s so fun every year to see it! For more Disney secrets, be sure to follow AllEars.net.
