15 NEW Perks and Discounts Begin for Disney Vacation Club Members!

Disney Vacation Club is kicking off its Welcome Home Weeks, which means you could be entitled to some HUGE perks!

Choosing to invest in becoming a Disney Vacation Club member is a heavy debate, but once you’ve taken the plunge and found a way to make it work for you, it could open up a whole world of possibilities for how you choose to use your membership. As a DVC member myself, I LOVE when Disney tosses a few extra discounts and offerings our way, so when I see them coming, I’m one of the first in line to take full advantage of them.

Disney Vacation Club is Disney’s version of a timeshare program, where you’ll buy a deeded interest in real estate in one of Disney’s various hotels and properties in exchange for an allotment of points to use for vacations annually. It’s up to you how many points you use each year to book your hotel stays instead of using cash, and if you’re looking to save a few of them for upcoming years (or in reverse, borrow from future years to complete an upcoming stay), there’s flexibility for both scenarios! Lots of DVC members who’ve purchased into the program have found multiple ways to make their membership work for the way they want to vacation for now and in the future.

Along with the perk of being able to book your upcoming trips with points, DVC members are also treated to a whole slew of membership benefits. And actually, we’re coming into DVC’s new Welcome Home Weeks for the season. Disney first introduced Welcome Home Weeks last year, offering various limited-time perks, discounts, and offers, and now we’re finally in the beginning stages of being able to take advantage of them. This year, these perks will be offered from August 14th through September 16th, 2025!

Before we dive in for a look at what’s in store, there are a few quick reminders to go over. In order to take advantage of these perks, you’ll need to be certain that your DVC membership qualifies for Membership Extras. Additionally, valid park admission and park reservation are required for perks offered inside Disney parks, and a valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required.

Additionally, members eligible for Membership Extras with a hotel reservation at the same hotel where the event is being held (on an event date) may attend, plus 4 of their guests (or the number of additional guests on the reservation).
