The Disney Vacation Club is kind of like a Disney timeshare program. Members can get “future vacations at today’s purchase price.” With the DVC, you don’t need to worry about being locked into a specific Disney destination, length of stay, when you can travel, the type of accommodations, and so on and so forth. DVC Members actually use a points system, allowing for a lot more flexibility and freedom.
If you were thinking about becoming a DVC Member, now is the time! A new deal was just announced by Disney, specifically for Disney Visa Cardmembers. If you’re a Disney Visa Cardholder and you sign up for a DVC membership with your home resort being The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, you can save $10,000 on your membership!
That’s a huge savings, so let’s look at this in more detail! When it comes to the membership alone, you’ll be saving $8,500. The extra $1,500 will be saved for being a Disney Visa Cardmember — so that extra savings total of $10,000 comes from being a cardholder.
You have some time to think about it, as the offer expires on September 29th, 2025. Don’t wait too long, though, because that time can come and go.
To become a DVC Member, you will have to do a DVC tour — although it’s not really a tour. It can be done in person or over the phone. You’ll also have to buy an ownership interest with at least 250 Vacation Points in The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.
