CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: The Italy Pavilion in EPCOT Looks Different!

With a brand-new ride opening at EPCOT, this change has quietly been in effect.

Construction has been underway to re-theme Test Track, which will open on July 22nd — but have you noticed the construction happening over in World Showcase?

The Italy Pavilion over in World Showcase is one of the most popular pavilions at EPCOT. From its eye-catching structure to the food, it’s one of our favorites to visit. One of those stunners is the St Mark’s Campanile tower.

We haven’t been able to see the St Mark’s Campanile replica since February of this year.  It has been hiding behind walls and scaffolding. Now, after quite some time, we can finally say that the construction is complete! 

The tower is looking fresh, new, and better than ever! From time to time, Disney will put up scaffolding to give exteriors a refresh. It did take a while, but it’s looking fantastic!

Funny enough, it feels like now is the first time in forever that EPCOT has no construction going on. All of that has shifted to the three other Disney World parks! It’s nice to have the park look “normal”…for now.
