CONFIRMED: This Disney World Hotel Restaurant Is Now CLOSED for 6 Months

Closures in Disney World are never fun, but we usually get some notice so that you know when closures could affect your Disney World trip.

For example, Disney let us know ahead of time that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad would be closed throughout this year. We also knew that parts of DinoLand, U.S.A. would also close this month to start making way for Pueblo Esperanza. Likewise, we knew that Stormalong Bay, the main pool at Disney’s Beach Club and Yacht Club Resorts would close from January through June 2025. Well, the pool bar and grill there, Hurricane Hanna’s, is also closed.

If you visit Hurricane Hanna’s page on the Disney World website, you’ll see a message that it, too, will be closed while Stormalong Bay is closed from January 2025 through June 2025. So if you were hoping to still grab a drink from the pool bar there, you’re out of luck. Of course, it makes sense that it would be closed while the pool is unavailable.

Stormalong Bay will be getting some routine maintenance during this time, which means you could hear some construction during the day if you’re staying in the EPCOT Resort area. However, hotel guests are still welcome to swim at Beach Club’s Tidal and Dune Coves pools, as well as at Yacht Club’s Admiral pool.

If for some reason Stormalong Bay and Hurricane Hanna’s reopens sooner than estimated, we’ll be sure to let you know — that does happen sometimes. So be sure to keep checking back with AllEars for more.
