Out of all the exciting things we’re looking forward to arriving at Disney World, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure probably takes the cake.

Currently, the ride is set to open in late 2024 to replace Splash Mountain. The storyline of the ride starts where Princess and the Frog ends, and even begins in Tianas Foods, an employee-owned cooperative that was started after the opening of Tiana’s Palace. As Tiana plans to throw a party, she realizes an ingredient is missing, and takes visitors along with her as she hunts for it throughout the bayou! These details help us to understand some of the new additions being made as the ride is constructed, like the Tiana’s Foods tower! Another NEW detail has been added to the ride, and we’re headed to check it out!
Construction is well under way at this point, so we love checking everything out as we walk by. We noticed some work beginning in a new area, and were curious to see what was happening.

When we kept walking, we realized that it was a mural that was being painted!

It looks stunning so far with all the vibrant colors! It looks like some plants are being painted, too.

We can’t wait to see more changes take place as the opening date for the ride draws nearer and nearer. We’ll continue to keep you all in the loop with construction updates as well as more news we hear regarding the ride. Make sure to follow along so that you never miss a thing and are always in the loop!
