Is it TOO EARLY to celebrate Halloween? Disney doesn’t seem to think so!

Magic Kingdom usually kicks off Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in mid-August, and this year it starts on August 11th. But ahead of the party, the park gets decorated for the spooky season. And those decorations were already up…on the last day of JULY!
Now, the park isn’t fully decked out yet, but there are a few fall surprises around! The first is when you arrive at the park entrance — we spotted these pumpkin planters.

You’ll find this photo op before you pass through the tapstiles, and it perfectly frames the train station and the Disney100 sign out in front of the park.

The planter is also filled with hay bales and autumn florals.

Once we headed inside the park and stepped onto Main Street, U.S.A., we spotted even MORE spooky goodness!

There are pumpkin displays around in the various planters, and the iconic Magic Kingdom Halloween scarecrows are BACK!

Each of these scarecrows are dressed to look like different Cast Members around the park. There’s a pastry chef…

…a Main Street Confectionery worker…

…an employee from The Emporium…

…a member of the Main Street Philharmonic…

…and of course, the Mayor of Main Street! Does anyone else miss the Citizens of Main Street who used to roam around the park?

There’s also a non-Cast Member scarecrow — the iconic umbrella tightrope lady from the portrait room of the Haunted Mansion!

All around Main Street, U.S.A., you can see plenty of festive bunting…

…and jack-o’-lanterns!

If you look closely, you’ll notice that many of these little pumpkins match their location, like this film strip pumpkin in front of the Main Street Cinema. Those Imagineers think of everything!

Over at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, we found some silly little pumpkins with the cutest faces you’ve ever seen.

And, of course, some ice cream-themed pumpkins were nearby, too!

And finally, we’ve got to show off the iconic Halloween photo op — the pumpkin stacks framing Main Street, U.S.A.!

Make sure to snag your family photo here if you’re coming during the next few weeks and months. It’s a Halloween tradition!

Currently, there aren’t any Mickey pumpkins up on the lampposts yet, but we’ll be on the lookout for them to arrive soon. Stay tuned to AllEars for more updates!
