PHOTOS: ‘Ohana Brings Back Fan-Favorites With an Updated Menu

We’ve seen quite a few changes to dining menus around Disney World as more restaurants have reopened over the past year!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Lobby

Recently, Tortuga Tavern in Magic Kingdom, Citricos at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort welcomed guests back with a selection of new eats and drinks. But, only one month after opening, the ‘Ohana menu is changing yet again and we’re bringing you along with us to check it out!

When the restaurant first opened last month, we brought you a first look at the new version of the all-you-can-eat style meal. And, while you can still find some of the same starters and entrees, the menu is looking a bit simpler now with the return of many fan-favorite dishes.

You’ll no longer find the Roasted Eight-way Chicken, Island Shrimp Casserole, and Cheddar-Bacon Biscuits on the menu, but you will find an ‘Ohana Dinner Skillet and the Signature ‘Ohana Bread!

And, if you’re looking for a plant-based meal, you’ll also have a selection of starters, entrees, and dessert — just let your server know!

When we arrived, our meal kicked off with the Mixed Greens Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette and the Coconut Papaya Scones with Honey Butter. The Signature ‘Ohana Bread was sadly missing, despite being on the menu. When we asked a Cast Member, we were told the Coconut Papaya Scones are here to stay for the foreseeable future. They did note that if you miss the old ‘Ohana bread, it will be available across the way at Kona Cafe.

And, then it was time for the main course! Our server brought all of the platters to our table and we couldn’t wait to dig in!

We started with the Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings…

Look at those wings…

…and Pork Dumplings Tossed In Garlic-Chili Sauce…

You can almost feel the crunch

…also, to our surprise they still had the Kielbasa Sausage. This was not listed on the menu but was a welcomed addition to our meal! We did confirm this will only be temporarily offered.

We are gonna miss this sausage

Next up was the obligatory delicious vegetable, Roasted Broccolini.

You gotta eat your greens!

Last, but certainly not least, the apple of our eye, Ohana Noodles.

Just look at all the Noodle-y goodness

Even though Cast Members aren’t currently walking around with meat on skewers, the ‘Ohana Dinner Skillet includes a modified version of the fan-favorite dish. It features Wood-fire Grilled Teriyaki Beef…

So delicious

 …the Spicy Peel-n-Eat Shrimp…

We missed the shrimp SO much

…and Grilled Chicken with Polynesian-inspired Chimichurri Sauce.

Back to Wood-Fire Grilled Perfection

We couldn’t cap off our meal with anything other than that DELICIOUS Ohana Bread Pudding.

I can just taste the warm caramel

The rest of the menu has remained the same including Non-Alcoholic Specialty Beverages, Signature Cocktails, and beer and wine selections (which all cost extra on top of the meal).

The price also has not changed with the full meal costing $55 per adult and $33 per child.

The new menu will be available at ‘Ohana moving forward and you can already make their reservation up to 60 days in advance. Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more menu updates around Disney World, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
